On my neighborhood swim team, there was actually a kid who always had a perma-erection. Might have been 8 or 9 or something. Can’t remember. And I’m bad at remembering ages. Anyway, what’s weird is we always sort of made fun of him (behind his back, of course) but at the same time it kind of wasn’t too big a deal to anybody, which is sort of odd in retrospect. Because now I think about it and think how freakin’ embarrassing. I imagine his parents were probably pretty horrified.
